DIEGO (Feb. 22, 2019) - Capt. Michael Eberlein, commanding officer of Undersea Rescue Command (URC) speaks at a change of command ceremony held at Naval Air Station North Island. Capt. Michael Eberlein was relieved by Cmdr. Joshua Powers as commanding officer of URC. URC is the Navy’s only submarine rescue capability, ready to deploy around the world in the event of a submarine emergency.
