The Peace Palace, The Hague, The Netherlands. Monday 26th August, 2019. Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrix of The Netherlands, this morning attended the 79th, session of the ‘Institut de Droit International’ (IDI), The Institute of International Law. The session was held in The Grand Courtroom of the Peace Palace (Vredespaleis) in The Hague. IDI is committed to the promotion of the development of private international and public law and has a membership of 132, they meet in session once every two years. The resolution put into law serve as precursors to multilateral treaties and the decision-making of the United Nations.
