Legion, which began October 16 in this city, made considerable work for all of the florists. P. Chopin, of St. Charles avenue, had charge of the decorations for the grand ball, which was given at the Hotel Grunewald in honor of the visiting legionnaires and their ladies. The city was lavishly decorated and illuminated for the occasion. The en- tertainment committee prepared an ex- tensive program of events, a few of which are named below.
