The Longview Chapel, located in Lee's Summit, Missouri, is just one of several historical buildings located within Longview Farms. Each building, including the home of Richard Long, ornate horse barns and outbuildings scattered throughout a large parcel of land, is immediately recognizable, with red tiled roofs and whitewashed exterior walls. Long was a Kansas City lumberman who built the farm in 1914 as a respite for his family, but it was also a large working farm.
