Musicians playing at a Hyttsill evening, Kosta Boda glass works, Kosta, Kalmar Län, Småland, Sweden.
The unusual instrument on the left is a nykelharp. Hyttsil is the traditional meal of the Swedish glass factories. Originally the herring was fried on the glass makers' rod, potatoes were baked in the hot ashes of the furnace and both were eaten accompanied with home brewed beer, music and singing. The Kosta Boda works were founded in 1742 by Anders Koskull and Georg Bogislaus Stael von Holstein and are the oldest in Småland.
