The Permanent Manufacturers Railway Supplies and Equipment, lo-cated at the Karpen Building, meets thisdemand admirably. It is ourpurpose to present a brief description ofall new devices exhibited from month tomonth, and those interested in the infor-mation which we present and who desirefurther details may either write directly tothe manufacturers or they may direct theirinquiries to the officers of the PermanentExhibit. It may be added that the officials ofthe railways, including the managementand purchasing agents, are enthusiastic intheir approval of this economic proposi-tion, and other railway men along the lineare constantly expressing their satisfac-tion at the facilities now afforded themfor inspecting, without trouble, particu-lars in which they are interested and in-variably find new and interesting subjectsthat will repay them for the time spentin visiting the exhibition. .•
