Old Millstone used as table at the historic windmills of Javea, Spain

There are 11 windmills dominating the skyline located on the hilltop of La Plana at a height of 190 metres above sea level. The winmills were built between the 14th and 18th century for grinding grain. The mills have deteriorated and look more like round watchtowers rather than windmills. In the 17th century they were known as ' The Granary of Alicante'. Spectacular views can be seen from the windmills overlooking the resort and town of Javea.
