Night of The Toads

Every year, the toads make their slow waddle across the driveway on their way to the pond to spawn. They always pick an early Spring night, when the temperature gets above 6degrees Celcius. Waking up having over-wintered in their leaf burrows and venturing out in search of the opposite sex (I know they've come from leaf burrows because they often have bits of leaf stuck all over them).
