FORT HUNTER LIGGETT, Calif. (May 17, 2017) - Steelworker 2nd Class Dennis Ferreira, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4, grinds a portion of a steel gate that will be installed on a roadway in Fort Hunter Liggett, Calif., during the battalions’ field training exercise, May 17. FTX gives Seabees the opportunity to practice and apply seabee combat warfare skills, provide host nation security support and stay mission ready in a simulated environment intended to replicate in-country operations.
