A splendid German hunting hanger, circa 1730/40 Slender single-edged blade with double-edged point and double fullers on both sides (slightly stained). The root with etched depictions of jumping hounds and game between scrolling bands. S-shaped curved silver quillons. Staghorn grip carved with hunting motifs of extraordinary quality.
