Berlin, Mitte, St Hedwigs Hospital, Main House, Neo-Gothic red brick listed building exterior & façade with sculptures & Saint Agatha Fountain The Clinker brick main building has three flattened towers topped with crosses and there are two sculptures of St. Hedwig and St. Charles Borrome by sculptor Johannes Janda on the canopy above the entrance. The Agatha fountain was designed in1996 by Jens-Hagen Engelhardt in the Moorish style. The Virgin Saint Agatha, patron saint of fire & lightning, stands on the old fountain on the front courtyard of the hospital.
