At Viterbo stood in Roman times many spas. Some traces remain important, although now ruined and abandoned, remind us of the ancient spa tradition of the city. The Baths of Bacucco (pictured) are the most impressive ruins in the area of Viterbo and witness the grandeur and splendor which was originally given this establishment.
