Sgt. Eikleberry captured an image of a father and two children, who were Bucheron or woodcutters from the Ardennes Forest, on the steps of a church in Sedan, France. These individuals are referred to as the last of an ancient people who once resided in the Belgian forests. This photograph was taken on November 16, 1918.
