HARBOR, Hawaii -- (May 17, 2018) Sailors assigned to the submarine tender USS Emory S. Land (AS 39) man the rails as the ship passes the Battleship Missouri Museum and Memorial upon arrival in Hawaii, May 17. Land is in Hawaii on a scheduled port visit. Submarine tenders provide maintenance, hotel services and logistical support to submarines and surface ships in the 5th and 7th Fleet areas of operations.
