Must havecrushed granite, and generally this necessitates a wardian-case in a dampgreenhouse. Asplenium Adiantum nigrum on St. Marys above Rocky Hill, also ratherdifficult to cultivate. Asplenium Trichomanes, between masonry of old mills, beyond Star Castle,grows fairly well on rockwork. Lastrea amula and Spinulosa are found in March between old and newtown, and make good pot plants. 300.
