Scoil Mhuire Ogh, Dublin, Ireland. Architect: Mary Laheen Architects, 2011. View of front facade from road taken one year after

Scoil Mhuire Ogh is a national school for girls between the ages of eight and twelve in Crumlin, Dublin. The new extension is located at the street edge of the site on the busy Crumlin Road. The civic-scale spaces immediately behind the street facade include the Library, Entrance Hall and Foyer; as well as staff and administrative functions. The large General Purpose room, which will occasionally be used by the community is also at this level. Five new classrooms are at upper levels of the building.
