Afghan National Army soldiers compete to see who can apply a tourniquet the fastest on their partner during a medical class, Feb. 25, 2013, in Farah province. The goal of the competition was to see who could apply a tourniquet in under 45 seconds. The soldiers received a class from Afghan medics and coalition forces on how to properly use tourniquets in hopes to help save each others' lives in the event of them being injured on the battlefield.
