The wall isbuilt sufiiciently high to protect the men working the blowerfrom the heat and gases from the oven. The blower itself isof wood and hide and is shown in position in Fig. 5. The latest igneous rocks, seen near the copper deposits, areporphyry dikes in the diorite. The gravel along the Chasungriver has been extensively washed for gold, which presumablycame from the copper deposits. To the southeast of TongJom is the Hagampo diorite area, likewise intruded into lime-stone
