The kingfisher can fly up to 25mph BEDFORD, ENGLAND CHEEKY IMAGES of a kingfisher catching fish and perching on an astonished photographer's camera have been captured. Images show the kingfishers flying at up to 25 miles-per-hour top speed and showing off some incredible fishing skills including flipping fish in the air and catching them again before cheekily taking up residence on the photographer's camera. These images were captured by logistics manager Warren Price (53) from Bedfordshire, England, where he took the images at a local beauty spot. Warren captured the images on his Canon R5. He has been photographing kingfishers for almost seven-years and knows that the swift birds can be difficult to capture, so getting home to such beautiful results is always a pleasure. ?I am trying the capture the various moments of the kingfisher hunting,? said Warren ?It's always a challenge as you never really know what you have captured until after the event as the kingfisher is so fast. ?It's always pleasing to see the final images and to see they are in focus and you have captured these moments that are in reality, split second moments. ?People are always attracted to kingfishers and they love to see them in moments that are usually missed by the human eye. ?I enjoy the complete process. The time it takes to capture these shots can take months and tens of thousands of images, so it's always rewarding to have the occasional successful frame. ?I like the shots that show the expressions on the fish's faces as they are in the kingfisher's beak. ?The colours are extraordinary. They are a challenge, secretive, shy and skittish birds by nature but the results can be ENDS
