AEC Mammoth Major on the building site for Sheffield University, South Yorkshire, 1960. An AEC Mammoth Major lorry delivering reinforcement bars on the building site for Sheffield University on Glossop Road. The Mammoth dates from around 1954 and has signage to warn of its 50 foot length. The vehicle, which had the registration number LYB 957, belonged to Woodcocks Hauliers.
