Alan Lichtenhein wasborn May 24, 1887, and is a graduate of bothWilliams College and the Harvard Law School. Upon the death•of his father, who for many years occupied a very prominentposition in the Canadian railway supply field, he entered theservice of the Franklin Railway Supply Company in Cana^a,and now succeeds to his fathers position in charge of Canadiansales of that company.
