This does not prevent establishingthe horizontal lines, as in the other method ; once thesehorizontal lines are traced on the clay, there will only remaintwo measurements to take, the distance and the depth. In the case of the lower frame of the chassis of thesmall model, it will be nailed to the extremity of the fouruprights, before fixing them to the stand, proceeding in thesame way with the plumb-lines as for the enlargement, so asto be sure that it is perfectly in line beneath the upper part (Fig. 75)-.
