Golden shrimp, Stenopus spinosus, from the Mediterranean Sea, Malta.


This up to 8cm sized shrimp species is commonly encountered in shallow waters during night dives in the Mediterranean. It can be easily identified due to its coloration with an orange-golden body and white antennae.
