Mecidiye Mosque and the First Bosphorus Bridge in the Istanbul suburb of Ortakoy viewed from a Bosphorus Tour Boat. The Mecidiye Mosque was built in 1855 by the Balyan family. The 1st Bosphorus Suspension bridge was completed in 1973 and links Ortakoy to Beylerbeyli. it has a length of 1074 metres and is 64 metres above the water level.
