A paddle butt carbine, German, circa 1650. Round, smooth bore barrel in mm calibre, the top of the barrel is stamped with a "P" that is barely legible. Smooth lock with an external wheel. The full stock is presumably made of beech(?) with iron furniture, wooden ramrod without tip. The iron parts are slightly spotted, stock with traces of use and in some parts with professional repairs. Drying crack in the area of the lock.
