1655 Medieval Public Laundry in the town of Cefalu, Sicily, Italy
The Medieval public laundry (Pubblico Lavatoio detto Medievale) is where the river Cefalino, after following an underground course flows into the sea at Cefalu on the Island of Sicily. The year 1655 saw the first major construction with the internal arches and the laundry was completed in 1890.
