The Coast Guard rescued two mariners and a dog who became stranded near Altoona, Wash., Dec. 26. 2016. The mariners and dog were hoisted by a Sector Columbia River MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew and returned to the sector for further medical evaluation.
