Althoughthere was a question as to the identity of thisvariety, there was none as to the quality. Theflowers were well developed specimens borne onstems fully four feet in length, with magnificentfoliage and immense full double blooms of a deeprich crimson color. A. H. FEWKES, Secretary. A few firms are willing to guaranteetheir plants in that way, but even with that guar-antee we get some which are more or less may perhaps be due to the carelessness of theemployees .when digging the roots.
