Youth storm at Stadium Galgenwaard, 1942 photograph A long line of members of the Jeugdstorm is at the entrance of the Galgenwaard stadium in Utrecht on 20 June 1942. In the stadium they will attend the swearing up of 3000 executives of the NSB. The ceremony of the oath was the result of a compromise between the Germans and the NSB. The Germans did not want an oath on Hitler (which Mussert had secretly done before) the NSB. Compromis: Dutch Ssers took the oath on Hitler, executives of the NSB on Mussert.
