After one year spent in thisway he returned to his home and engaged infarming for two years. February 10, 1886, Miss F. E. Post became thewife of Mr. Chardavoyne. She is the daughterof D. C. Post, an agriculturist near Pine his marriage our subject continued farmingfor one year and then located in Paterson and ac-cepted a position as clerk in a shirt factory, re-maining there one year. Eater he went to Eaton-ville, where he clerked in a store for two years,and then bought a store in Pine Island, operatingthe same for three years. In the spring of 1893he sold his store, and, coming to Goshen, boughtout Churchs livery business, continuing at theold location. He is finely situated for this line ofbusiness and is centrally located. He keeps agreat variety of vehicles, and the public, appre-ciating his ability, gives him a liberal patronage.
