The Noma building, headquarters of the Cooperative Society, officially opened by the Queen today has received a BREEAM score of , earning it an Outstanding certification. The building provides a 50% reduction in energy consumption compared with the previous building and it reduces carbon by 80%. A green travel plan, electric car charge points, a smartphone app explaining how the building works and personal carbon usage tracking influence occupant behaviour to ensure the building is used as designed.
