A silver-mounted percussion shotgun, Ivan Permjak in St. Petersburg, circa 1770 Imported Italian two-stage barrel, octagonal breech section, then round with old bluing and a smooth bore in 17 mm calibre. Rich silver scroll inlay on the breech stamped with the maker's inscription, "Rosina in Toscana". Two gold-filled marks "Egidio Leoni" beneath a crown and a recumbent lion. Finely engraved lock, converted to percussion, bearing the Cyrillic signature "Franz Permjak". Lightly carved walnut full stock (small break at the lower end of the butt stock) with a dark h,
