The Secretary then called the name of Mr. Wade, who rose fromhis seat in the Senate and advanced toward the chair. His right tosit as a member of the court was Questioned by Senator Hendricksand discussed, and a motion to adjourn was made and carried. Areport of the debate will be found in the third volume.
