The patient, fifteen years of age, had fallen from a highstack of straw directly on the left shoulder, and was admitted to theclinic two weeks after the injury. Through an incision in front of theshoulder the completely dislocated diaphyseal extremity was replacedand fixed by means of a steel needle. Recovery with good function.
