Rock climbers on a route on Peel Crag near Steel Rigg in Northumberland. This quartz dolerite crag situated under Hadrian's Wall a few miles from Hexham and roughly halfway between Newcastle & Carlisle is easily accessed from Steel Rigg and is a popular venue for local climbers. While the location offers a variety of routes and ranges of difficulty the majority are severe & very severe.
