170520-N-AV234-0018 PEARL HARBOR (May 20, 2017) A memorial wreath is presented at the 73rd West Loch Disaster Remembrance Ceremony to the waters of West Loch as a sign of respect and remembrance at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, May 20, 2017. On May 21, 1944, 163 personnel died and 396 were injured in what was the second largest tragedy of Pearl Harbor during the war. The Army's 8th Theater Sustainment Command hosted the event onboard the Logistics Support Vessel-2, the the Chief Warrant Officer 3 Harold C. Clinger, for leaders from the Air Force, Navy, Marines and Coast Guard.
