Survey data Taken from Cape Olyutorski in the western Bering Sea north to Point Hope in the Chukchi Sea, south along the inner and middle shelf of the eastern Bering Sea to Unimak Island, and east to Kayak Island in the northeastern Gulf of Alaska. Depth range 25 to 475 m, most commonly ( of occurrences) on the middle shelf from 50 to 100 m, and of occurrences from depths <150 m. Survey data extend the known range north to Point Hope and east to Kayak Island and the maximum known depth.
