All the growers reduced their ^"?reage and it was doubtful whether there w^ould be enough seed to go around it delivery time. We have a liberal -' reage planted, but our second plant- !ig was late, and it will depend upon ' iiniatic conditions as to whether we '-liall raise a large crop. The early- 'iowering sweet peas are now coming iito full bloom and, notwithstanding lie cold spring and the two severe frosts n April, they are making a good show- iig and there will be a fair crop har- ? ested and probably enough to go iround, although we are selling closely ?11 some of these varieties. On late- !owering Spencers in named varieties lie prospects arc good and there will "0 ample to take care of all our busi- 'ipss, but we think there will be no ?ireat surplus of mixed Spencer this •ear.
