Raised footprints on Beinn Luibhean one of the Arrochar Alps in Scotland
Raised footprints on Beinn Luibhean one of the Arrochar Alps in Scotland. Beinn Luibhean is one of the lesser know Arrochar Alps and at a height of 858 meters is connected by a high bealach to the highest, Beinn Ime. These unusual raised footprints occur when snow gets compacted by the footprint and then the uncompressed snow around the footprint gets blown away in high winds.
