Emergency treatment. Paramedics preparing to move a woman with a suspected neck or back injury. She has been placed on to a spine board and has had a rigid cervical collar (neck brace) fitted around her neck. Her head has been strapped to hold it still. The straps, brace and board will immobilise the patient's head, neck and spine, which will prevent further injury.
