The Altrincham Market in Cheshire has had its Royal Charter since 1290. This attractive Victorian Hall has now been sold by the council and now [2014] is being redeveloped as a multipurpose center [centre]. Those stall holders who wished to continue trading have been moved to a new covered area close by amid some controversy
