A Marine pets Fred the dog, whose owner veteran Marine Craig Grossi worte a book about the stray dog he found and fell in love with while on a tour in Afghanistan. Fred and Grossi supported each other while he was in Afghanistan and Grossi knew he had to take the stray dog home with him and make him part of his family. The book is about their adventures in Afghanistan together. With Grossi and Fred are Nora Parkington, Grossi's girlfriend, and her dog Ruby. Customers were delighted by their presence and stood in a long line in order to talkk to Grossi have him sign his book.
