Graduates of the Brigadier General Select Orientation Course receive honors for the first time during the BGSOC Ceremony at Marine Barracks Washington, Aug. 15, 2022. BGSOC is an annual, week-long course held in the National Capital Region to instruct the newly promoted individuals on their new rank and responsibilities. The hosting official for the evening was the 38th Commandant of the Marine Corps, Gen. David H. Berger.
