Raging seas at Ballycastle and in the North Channell have prevented Ferry Sailing from Rathlin Island to Ballycastle. This is the fourth day that there has been no sailings to Rathlin Island on the North Coast of Northern is the only inhabited offshore island in Northern Ireland, with a population of just over 100 people, and is the most northerly inhabited island off the coast of N Ireland. Residents have now been without fresh food supplies for four days with the weather showing no sign of a break to allow ferries to travel to the mainland.
