Two (of three) Early Christian cross-inscribed stones in an old walled monastic enclosure at Reask, Co Kerry, Republic of Ireland. The tall thin sandstone slab ( high) has an encircled cross patée above pendant spiral designs terminating in a leaf-shaped shield (pelta); all reminicent of La Tene Early Celtic Art. Letters dNe carved vertically, centre L, stand for domine, Latin for Lord, or master. The smaller sandstone cross-slab, incised with a simple Latin cross with the letters dNs below, is high.
