The predominantly Kurdish militia People’s Protection Unit (YPG) has carried out an artillery bombardment of the Rihania district in the Turkish state of Hatay. The attack has caused the death of one person, the injury of some others, in addition to damaging residential buildings. It also caused panic in the district and shops were closed. The attack is believed to have taken place in response to the current Turkish military operation in Afrin, Syria
