Irish Crosier Helgo. Irish origin and would have formed part of a bishop's staff. The coiled top of the crozier was made in Ireland around 800 AD. This artefact arrived on Helgo island either as pillaged goods, during a Viking raid, or exclusive aristocratic gifts. Bronce and decorated with enamel and coloured glass inlays. Swedish History Museum. Stockholm. Sweden.
