Air Force 535th Air Lift Squadron from Hickam Air Force Base, Oahu, proof of concept test flight for C17s to use USAG Pohakuloa Training Area Bradshaw Army Airfield, Big Island, Hawaii. This was the first time in 20 years that a C17 has landed at PTA. The test was successful and the Army / Air Force plans for future utilization of this aircraft to transport troops between Oahu and the Big Island.
