Smooth-fronted caiman (Paleosuchus trigonatus) skull. This small caiman is found in the Amazon and Orinico Basins of South America. Males reach an average length of metres, although the largest recorded specimen was metres long. Photographed at CosmoCaixa Science Museum, Barcelona, Spain.
