Lake Rosamarina, also known as Dam or Caccamo lake, is fed by the River San Leonardo and is one of the largest artificial lakes in Sicily, created after the construction of a dam to provide a water resource for the city of Palermo. Caccamo is about 45 kilometres (28 miles) southeast of Palermo.
